Need some washing / detailing help or suggestions!

Some of you might remember but I recently purchased a black Yukon this November.

I don't know how well or badly it was treated with regards to washing and waxing etc.

So what would my best option be,
From close you can definitely see swirls and a lot of them.

Should I go get it detailed for a bunch of $? In the description it saws wash/shampoo/clay/polish/etc.

Will this get it restored? I really don't have the time at this point to be doing it myself. Nor a garage, and it is -15 to -30 Celsius most days.

There is ALOT of salt on my roads everyday. Should I wait until spring?

I am a complete noob when it comes to taking care of paint.

Yes polishing willl get the swirls out. But it all depends how deep they are and how many. For a complete paint restore I would charge on Tahoe prob around 500-600. But or what you just mentioned I do it for 175 and that is one step polish and it gets majority of the little swirls out. As for when to do it. I would wait until spring when the salt is off the road and you spend that money you want it to stay nice for awhile. Also to keep it that way it will have to depend on your washing and drying prep.

Are touch less automatic washes bad? I've heard many mixed reviews about them. I don't see why they'd be bad, and when it's -20 and my truck is completely white from highway salt, I REALLY don't see it being worse than what's on the car.
