need to find a way to plug rear ac controls

that thing rattles way too much. im thinking of getting rid of it and plugging it with something but i have no idea what i can use. any ideas?

before i'd just completely 86 it, i'd consider extending the wires and moving it somewhere else. mount it somewhere else, maybe in the back of one of the headrests or in the back of the console. then just get some plexi, backspray it black, and black rtv or caulk it into the old hole. i'd have to go look at mine, don't remember if it's got the trim on the headliner or on the control itself. it all comes apart, so you could remove the knobs and put it somewhere else with a smaller footprint. just an idea.

Look for a 'Hoe or Yuk that didn't have the rear AC, they have a cover for the rear AC control spot.

i was thinking of plugging it with a piece of styrafoam and then covering it with vinyl. my problem is what it will look like.

haks, thanks i didnt know that, ill look at my yukon to see if it has a cover.
