need to replace the stock CD player

Not with another CD player. I have the seperate CD player from GM in my truck and would like to take it out and put a pocket or something useful there. Any ideas? I know they are out there but where and what are the options?

i did a cheap way, i just measured out the whole and built a little box out of plastic, works fine!

it did a few years ago when I replaced the head unit with a cd player.

haha. Procomp used the brackets off an old cd player and mounted his CB radio in it..

or you can mount your sub control box in there or fancy switches.. lol

yeah, it worked, for the time being it houses my amp controller and the huge ass switch that came with my E-Locker.

got the old unit out and now ready for the pocket. will a pocket out of a 95 or so fit the 97? I doubt there is a difference, right?

sweet.. looks intact and yeah 95 to 99 have the same dash. ill check for sure!
