Hi everyone, I am new to the forum but not Tahoes. This is about the 6th Tahoe I have owned throughout the years. It is an 07 2WD LT with the LT3 package. everything is stock except the 24" KMC SLides on 305/35/24 rubber. I also own a 1963 Chevy C10 that has much lows, it has been static dropped 8.5" front and 5 rear.

My plan for the Tahoe is to lower it enough to eat up the majority of the fender gap (especially in the rear). I am sorta ok with the front, but I think an inch or two would look better. I still need to be able to turn this thing with out worrying about damaging anything. I have enough troubles driving my '63 around. the first 3 pic I posted are shortly after I bought it. Since then I have debadged it, smoked the tail lights, and added a new Pioneer head unit. pics to follow eventually.

Love the look of your 63! I have a 72 that I'm trying to get running again as well and frequent the 67-72 Chevy trucks forums frequently as well!

Welcome to this one! Great information and people in this group! Looks like a great start on your Tahoe! Get in touch with @NORCAL SS on here for information on the best suspension setup for you. He is a wealth of information and will not stear you wrong. I look forward to seeing your progress!

Thanks for the comments fellas. I have had the '63 for about 7 years now and have loved every minute of it. I have visited Norcal's website and browsed his merchandise. He does seem to know his stuff when it comes to these vehicles. I have to decide exactly how low I want to go and still remain functional. The Tahoe is m DD after all and Missouri roads aren't that great.

I have 2" front and rear drop and also on same 24" rims. No rubbing, practicle and takes a lot of wheel gap out. Got all mine from Tony as well.

I really like the white on black look you have going on there. The 2/2drop looks nice also I may got that route or 2/3 drop. thanks for sharing

Tony, that looks awesome! I wish I could go that low, but my wife drives the truck and the Missouri roads are terrible. I think a 2/3 would be about as far as I could go. I don't want any rubbing and I have 305/35/24 tires. Will a 3" drop in the rear push the tires forward? I know I have read somewhere on this forum that going "X" low in the rear pushes the tires out to the passenger side and forward in the wheelwell,i just don't remember how low that was.

Thev2/3-4 kit I offer with my endlinks/bumps tops is 635 shipped and proven best ride on this forum for years.

Usually 5-6 rear drop is where cable gets siced forward a lot

Thanks Tony, I will have to see if the wife will let me use some of the tax returns so I can drop this thing to a more respectable level. She doesn't care for lowered vehicles, she would rather lift them. Do you recommend shorter shocks for the rear? I don't think I have to change the fronts if it is just a spindle swap.
