I am going to buy a 96 Suburban. Would it be wise to run a carfax on it? Is there anyone here with the unlimited carfax deal that would be willing to run one for me? Just asking.

a carfax really isnt 100% accurate. to me, a waste of money. I can tell if a car has been hit pretty much by no matter who fixed it. possible signs for an accident

Orange peel on paint
New stickers on panels or core supports
body gaps between panels
paint isnt matched
etc etc..
waste of money IMO

You mean no orange peel. Most factory paint jobs foreign or domestic have orange peel.
