New to the forums, figured I would stop lurking and post. Just picked up the new (to me) Denali XL '05 for 8000, 87k on the ODO. Picked it up while my car is put up for restoration, enjoying the new ride a bit to much. Never been a fan of SUV's but the Denali is a keeper! Any tips are welcome for the new owner. :D

I nit picked the PO a bit because of small issues I would end up spending atleast 1000-3000 in repairs on. Replaced the air ride compressor, the insides were rusted and shot to hell. It air's up now but I have never owned a vehicle with air-ride, on start up it's ok to run for about 30s-1m then occasionally turn on for similar duration during driving?

If the compressor is kicking on while driving the rear shocks are probably leaking. My shocks were blown out and the compressor was bad. I disabled the ride control and put bilstein shocks all the way around.

I bought ours for $4k and have about $7400 in it now, including all repairs, fees and upgrades.
