Just curious. I'll be giving up my BMW X5 to get into a Denali (non ultimate) soon due to growing family.

One thing I'll miss is my massaging seats. I'll admit they kinda suck in the BMW. Just fill and deflate different parts of the seat. Nice for a long road trip to get the blood flowing but not really 'massaging'.

I had an opportunity to pick up an Ultimate and I declined due to its cost and having a buncha stuff I didn't want/need. But, the massaging seats are the one thing that has me still sort of interested.

Just curious how you like em'? If you've had massaging seats in other cars u've had, how do they compare?

Anyone know if its the same setup in the Escalade or is it different?

The non massaging standard seats have lots of complaints, and are mediocre at best. Not many massaging seats out in the wild. I too am hoping for a better seat from GM, as many are. The last 2 generations of seats have been terrible. Great truck in 100 ways, but seats are lacking. I have massaging seats in my S550, rarely use them, because the seats are so comfortable. I just wish Gm would design a comfortable seat for such a premium truck.

The ultimate seats are very nice. The leather is fantastic and very comfortable. The standard seat is mehhhh and leather is ok. Definitely not BMW quality. The ultimate has Bmw quality leather. The massage seats in ultimate are same as Cadillac platinum models.

My wife was unimpressed by the Escalade massaging seats, I thought it was absolutely amazing and had me thinking platinum before I realized my wallet wasn’t fat enough

To my surprise, it only massages your back. Other cars I've had, it would massage the seat bottom as well. TBH it's nothing special.

The GMT800 platform had the BEST seats, I wish they'd just modernize then and use that style again....minus the seatbelt being attached to the seat!

My 2003 Yukon Xl had the best seats ever. It went downhill ever since. My 2008 Sierra seats were fine, but since the newer style better looking seats came out in 2014-2015 depending on model....the seats suck.

I loved these seats as well, I just hated the lack of front roominess compared to the newer models. I have these same seats in my '04 Yukon XL and were super comfortable, but as a bigger guy I never had a ton of room behind the wheel and didn't enjoy driving it as much.

I was looking into the Escalade and especially the higher trims with the messaging seats before getting my current Yukon Denali. There weren't many Escalades to come by (especially without the crazy 25k+ add-on), so I went with my truck.
