New engine 2023 Denali

my 2023 ultimate Denali engine ceased while driving two weeks ago. It has under 11,000 miles. Dealer ordered a new engine but I am also worried it will happen again. According to the dealer gmc is having issues with the 6.2 engine.
On my 6.2 2021 Denali, I experienced spun rod bearings on cylinder #1 and #2 resulting in locked up engine at 29K miles. Engine was replaced. 6,000 miles later , same thing happened. Spun rod bearings in cylinder #5 & #6 locked up engine at 35K miles. Engine was replaced last week. I have no confidence in the oil distribution in this car and will talk to dealer today to sell this back. I need reliability. Upon reading these posts, this is common.

they went to dfm in 2015 on the suv's and I believe 2014 on the pickups
plenty of engines out there with many hundreds of thousands of miles
no changes in 2019, changes occured in 2021
I was thinking direct injection, that changed with the L83, L86

Stunned. '22 Denali camshafts "were eaten." 25k miles. This really upsets me because I've been a die hard GM fan my whole life... most of that has gone out the window forever. I bought it FOR that V8 engine SPECIFICALLY. What a pile of junk, guess I'll buy another LX570. Slower but the Toyota 5.7 engine will tick to 400k miles.

I purchased a 2023 Yukon Denali Reserve with less than 2000 miles on it my 6.2 L engine is shot and I need a new one. I want GMC to buy the truck back but they want to fix it and I’ve worried about future issues. Anyone else have this experience?
We had the same problem, I requested a buy back and they said they don't buy them back UNLESS the vehicle has been at the dealership for a cumulative of 30 days worth of repairs. We were in for 2-1/2 weeks so we waiting for the next problem to occur, sure enough 2 months later the leveling system went out. That took another 2 weeks to fix. I have reached out to GM and they state that since they fixed the vehicle that they probably would not offer a buy back at this point. I asked about the cumulative days of repairs and she said that might full under the LEMON LAW, but they didn't deal with that. That has to happen through our state. I have made a complaint to our state consumers complaints. Sad part is this has become GM's norm. You pay over $100,000 for a vehicle and you can't trust it to get you from point A-B.
I have a feeling a class action lawsuit is not far behind.

I don't think this is "common", it's more than should be for sure and we got shafted.... but I see so many 6.2L powered trucks be it Silverado or Escalade allllllll day long.

Denali is the new S Class of this city. They're just everywhere.
