Got my Esky bumper put on (not the 2012, maybe someday lol), picked up some chrome tow hooks, and got every letter pulled off. I still want to get G5 tail lights, esky appliques, esky 3rd brake light, and I have been trying to find the chrome side mouldings that the newer tahoes have, but Im not having any luck. Tell me what you think, and what else you think I should do.

Pics are below...

I do have one question about the tow hooks, if you installed them, how in the world did you guys get in there to tighten the alignment bolt on the passenger side...I dont want to pull the bumper for this :banghead:

Hadn't installed the tow hooks yet in this pic

Looks GREAT! I'm lovin the chrome tow hooks I definitely need to get some. LTZ factory grill should definitely be next then the esky third brake light. Oh and I have some esky appliqués for sale btw :)

Did you try Nordstrom's Auto for the side moldings? You have to ask them for Tahoe rear door one's and Suburban for the front door one's.

If you want some tow hooks, I think the guy I got them from has one more set...they are brand new, and he is selling them for only $40....still in the sealed box from GM.
Yeah I forgot to add the LTZ grille in my list of wants...I am just finding it hard to get a grille for a decent price. If I don't find the grille first I will be getting the tails, and when I do I will hit you up for the appliques (this will be in about two weeks or so, if you still have the appliques).
I have emailed Nordstrom's Auto a few times with no response, I guess I'll have to get on the phone and give them a shout...I hope they still have some in stock.

Emails don't do anything these days unless you are dealing with an individual. CALL CALL CALL! :D

If you decide you don't want to wait anymore, the black/chrome LTZ moldings are like $300 directly from the dealer (me). Nordstroms is alot cheaper, but I would be the next best bet..lol.

As far as the bolts go for the hooks.. I did my buddy's on his suburban in about 4 minutes. I don't recall having any issues at all. Just used a 1/2" socket and a crescent wrench if I'm not mistaken?

The last thing I'd work on is that exhaust tip. Considered the OEM chrome one?

I will call Nordstroms tomorrow and see if they have some, if they are out I will give you a shout for some.

Did you not have to remove anything to get the alignment bolt on the passenger side? It took me a couple minutes on the driver side and another minute or so to get the bolt that goes thru both sides of the frame, but the alignment bolt that goes thru one side of the frame I just cant seems to get to it to tighten it, so my passenger side hook is somewhat loose...when I'm at work tomorrow I'll look for some better tools to tighten with and see if I can do it then.

I'm not sure what I want to do with the ugly stock exhaust, I havent made up my mind to run it a different way or just put the chrome tip on it...

I didn't remove anything when I installed his. Went on perfect, no issues? Weird indeed...
