New from Hill Country & Upgrading from minivan to Full-size SUV

Just registered on the site, and really think it's great, with lots of detailed threads and expert advice.

We're upgrading our minivan to full-size SUV, and considering either Suburban or Yukon XL. Used to drive a GMC Acadia (first gen, significantly bigger than current ones), and will really appreciate getting back into AWD SUVs.

Will look forward to the input from all of you as we make some important decisions. Thanks!

The Suburban and the Yukon XL are basically the same truck with some differences in trim, the Yukon being slightly more upscale. If you are looking at the Yukon XL Denali, there are more differences (at a higher cost), such as the Denali comes standard wit the 6.2L motor.
