Hey there everyone, my name is Tyler. I don't yet have a Yukon, but hopefully that will change soon. I have always liked the way they drive and ride and look.

Currently looking at a 2004 Yukon this one >.http://bd-auto.com/m/ViewVehicle.do...&mnprc=&mxprc=&vid=64163&pg=1&ord=1&sort=Make

Seems like all the Yukons/Tahoes I've found have somewhere around 150k miles, and are priced from $7500-&10,000.

My question is, looking at a truck that's 10yrs old, are there any certain things I should look for before purchasing? Being that I'm coming from the world of slammed VW's, I honestly don't know much about these trucks. Any advice is appreciated.

Ok so this is what I ended up getting. 2003 Yukon slt. Had 129k when I bought it. Only thing I've done yet is threw on a set of 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer ST's. Looking at a leveling/lift kit next( http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IKW5MXA/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_zKU3tb08ECVHB) , and possibly removing my steps. Probably go with darker tint, an aftermarket stereo next.

The only issue I've found is the bottom four buttons on the steering wheel for the DIC don't work. Any ideas on possible steps to fixing that?View attachment 28344
