I became a Tahoe owner when my grandfather passed and left me his black 99 2 Door (4x4) Tahoe.

I needed a second car like a hole in the head but I couldn't get rid of it due to the circumstances. s such, I decided to go all out and overhaul it. Since September of last year, I have installed the following:

New Carpet
New Leather seats
New brakes FT/Rear
New 4.88 Gears
New RCX 6" Susp lift
New PA 3" Body lift
New Gap gaurds
New 20" Moto Metal Rims
New 37" Toyo OC MTs
And much more.

So far I love it. Drives like a 2 day old truck!!

Thank you very much. I hope to learn a bit more from the forum as the next step will be either a new engine, transfer case, and transmission. The truck has 130k original miles and as of now, everything is running strong. However, I intend to replace every component to bring the truck to 100% new. This summer I plan to modernize the electronics with all LED lighting external/internal, and stereo components.

By modernize, I am hoping to add a 2 din touch screen head unit, reverse camera, and turn assist with rear backup sensors and side mirror indicators.

I have already pre-wired the interior for a full stereo system since the carpet was out. In addition, I have installed dynomat on the entire floor, doors, and quarter panels. Hoping to change the headliner to suade as well.

Lots to do but I have been piecing it together as money will allow. Not really looking for a show truck, just a clean old, but new "ish" daily driver.

Forgot to mention, I am planning to have Line X Spray the bumpers, rocker panels, and fender flares soon, but it's so expensive that I may just consider an entirely new paint job. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
