New Guy- 08 Yukon SLT - about to wrap it

Hi Guys,
Im new here so I apologize if there's already a thread regarding this topic, but I couldn't find one.

Im about to wrap my 08 Yukon in a 3M 1080 Series vinyl. The current color is Silver Birch. I plan on covering it with a Matte Gray Aluminum vinyl.

I'm looking for some advice on how to treat the black plastic trim on the rear of the Yukon. Should I wrap it the same Matte Gray? or wrap that particular area Matte Black?

My goal is to have the entire ride matted out. Only gloss will come from the rims (soon to be 22" KMC Slides in black) and the window tint.

Let me know what you think. Matte Gray rear trim (matching rest of paint) or Matte Black (resembles stock look, only matte)

the part above the taillight? i would want to see it matte with the taillights blacked out matte also

Yes. The trim above the taillights and around top brake light.

-Think Im gonna go matte black to keep the correct Yukon styling.
I'll post some pics when finished.

I'm looking forward to it's completion. I have a silver birch SLT as well, and I've considered getting it wrapped.

Here is another pic of the progress... We have the roof, hood, front fender and passenger side front door wrapped. Also plastidipped all the chrome emblems and peeled out the centers on the GMC's to reveal the red.
Should finish it up tomorrow or Friday.
