Hi folks
I was invited here by member tast101 so I thought I would come on in and introduce myself.

I have been the proud owner of a 2002 Chevy Tahoe LT that I bought used in August of 2005. She stayed stock about 1 month and the mods started.

Here is where she started at:

Quite the Soccer Mom Special!

Well, here is the list of things I have done to her, or had done. For the most part, I have done all the work myself, I really enjoy getting hands on with my rig and trying to do as much as I possibly can. She is truly "built not bought".

Flowmaster Dual Side Out Series 50 Cat-back exhaust.
Ford F150 keys cranked and 2" spacers out back with Rancho RSX shocks.
Nitto Terra Grapplers 295 wrapped around 17" American Racing Mojaves.
Blackbear Performance Engine tune (epic difference in the truck after the tune).
Kennesaw Mountain Accessories rear bumper / tire carrier / dual jerry can holder.
ARB Toyota Land Cruiser bumper custom modded and fit to the body with a MileMarker winch.
Safari Snorkel for a Land Cruiser, again, custom modded to fit and routed into a Volant Cold Air Intake System.
National Luna dual-battery system from Sierra Expeditions.
Defender Roof Rack.
Deleted DRL lights and replaced them with fog light bulbs on a separate switch.
Hella 550 driving lights on the bumper, KC pencil beam lights on Defender rack, generic driving lights on rack as both alley lights and rear work lights.
Shovel and axe mounted to Defender roof rack using Quick Fist clamps.
Lund bug shield on the hood, VentShades rain guards, extra tint on all side windows.
Deleted the Homelink buttons and replaced them with toggle switches for the Hella and KC lights.
Replaced the center console with a used cruiser console to hold a ham radio, cb radio, air gauge, and master switch panel by Sound Off.
Pic of the current arrangement with labels:
ConsoleApr09.jpg
On - board air system using Viair compressor and 2.5 gallon tank mounted where the spare tire used to be, along with a Grover stuttertone air horn.
Hard wired an EdgeStar 12V fridge/freezer to run off of the auxiliary battery.
Mounted two round LED lights into the rear lift gate to serve as camping lights.
Converted the dash lights to red lighting and added red led lights to the cupholders.

She is not a mall cruiser or a street queen and she definitely earns her keep, love my Tahoe!

I have been very active on Z71Tahoe-Suburban so if anyone wants info on any of my projects, I am happy to send them any information I can, as I probably have already written up about it. I am always glad to help.

Thanks again for the invite tast101.

Take note RT. hahahah. Looking like RT tons of remotes/etc, organized chaos. Looking good. You'll bring tons of knowledge here and I'm confident you'll become a full time member here because you'll love it.
