I am stopping by to say hello and to say I am the new owner of a 2000 Tahoe. Its the same bodystyle as the 2001 though. I got it last week and so far I am enjoying it. I have to work out a few details on it such as replacing the rear glass since the hinge broke from the glass. I have found a replacement glass for $100 and from doing my research that seems to be a great price. One thing that is bothering me though is I don't have a Check Engine Light on my Tahoe when I turn the key on. I know where its supposed to be. But it doesn't light up when I turn on the Tahoe. I know every car's SES light is supposed to come on for a few seconds after start up. It seems no indicator lights are working on that side of the dash. Also the overhead interior light isn't working. Maybe its a fuse controlling them both. I did hook my code reader up to it and found one code. Its 0440. I am tracing that one down too. I will have lots of questions as I try and fix and do routine maintence on it as well. After I learn more about these Tahoes then maybe one day I will be able to answer some questions too!
