Hello everyone. I am thinking about purchasing a 2000 Tahoe Z71 and figured I'd see what you guys have to say about them. I've pretty much made up my mind because it's only 2200 and has been owned by my boss since new and he is an ASE certified mechanic who is totally ocd and it has a new engine.

Go for it. Sounds like its been well taken care of. And for $2,200, you can't go wrong. Plus if it breaks down, just have your boss fix it

I had an 01 z71 Tahoe with 150k and sold for $8900 in 2010 so $2200 is definitely a great deal!

Thanks for the comments. I have decided to buy the truck and it is driving down from Pa. right now. I knew it was a great deal my only concern is gas mileage and I wish they had the 3rd row seat option.

3rd row is blah. Unless you have kids, you can't fit anyone back there.
