New Headlights...need some advice

Hey all. So my passenger headlight assembly is cracked (knew that when I bought it) and I wanted to replace the assembly. Here's my problem.

I want to get a set from black flame custom but I can't afford it, but I also don't want to have a cracked headlight housing for much longer. I want to get these in the interim until I can afford the good ones. Anyone have experience with them?

I also wanted to install a set of HIDs into these assemblies, do any of you see a problem with that?


Any advice is appreciated.

Get eagle eye replacement denali lights. No HIDs or LEDs as they don't output the same as halogen. Save up money and do your own retrofit.

Also check out Amazon for prices on Depo brand. They make great stuff too. I would say Depo > Eagle Eyes > TYC for a few brand comparison. Only GM will have the GMC logo on top of the parking lamp area. That's why I kept my stock lights to retrofit because I like the GMC logo.

I think mine are depo but got them used. Retro best mod whether you have the GMC logo or not...I wish I did but the output makes up for it.

They are brand new in the box, never opened. Got them for my Denali and ended up selling the truck before I did my retro fit.
