I've been trying to read thru all the posts on the leveling kits and autoride but I'm getting confused. So I thought I'd ask directly. Possibly looking to do a 3"/1.5" leveing kit in the future and jump up to 33" tires. Problem is, I've got the Autoleveling setup. The Yukon has 140,000 miles on it now. (still runs and drives like top). And the rear shocks are looking a little rough and seams my compressor runs a bit more than it used to. I know that will be pricey. I was wandering what I would need to do to just put regular shocks on it and not use the Autoride. I wouldn't want to deal with the idiot light on the dash though. If I can do the mod and use the Autoride correctly, I would consider that. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You have torsion bars up front, so you will need keys (or a proper lift) but that is only recommended up to 2.5" to limit CV angles. As far as the rear I believe you can just replace with regular shocks and not use the compressor. Hopefully those with autoride will chime in.
