Hi everyone - been lurking on here for a little while and decided to make an account. I've been searching for a '22 Yukon XL Denali for a few months and finally was able to get a reservation on one at a nearby dealer that is status 3000 already and to be built next month. Somehow it was still available!

I've got a '21 Tahoe currently and am upgrading to the Yukon XL Denali because we need the size. On the order for my Denali it says that it has a IOK: 13.4" infotainment system -- I thought that the Denali / Yukon / Tahoe all shared the same screen size (10.2") despite the Denali's unique dash.

I can't find anything online that confirms this screen size -- anyone have any insight? I thought the 13.4" screen was coming on the refreshed Sierra, so not sure exactly if the screen size changed for the Yukon Denali from '21 to '22?

Appreciate any insight!

I saw the same exact thing on a build sheet that a dealer sent me for an incoming Denali. I'm thinking this is just an error on GMCs part... no way is the new screen coming to the Yukon in the middle of a model year. Perhaps in 2023 or 2024. But hey... if it shows up with it definitely keep us posted!

My 2022 build sheet had the same 13.4" infotainment listed. The Denali definitely has a bigger screen than the standard Yukons and Tahoes. I went out and measured mine and its just about 12" when measuring the screen diagonally. I imagine they are measuring outside corner to corner dimensions to get to 13.4". No changes in the 2022 models from 2021, but the screen is for sure bigger than the standard models.

The infotainment screen size is the same on all 2022s regardless of trim --- the Denali's may appear larger because it is built into the dash but they are all 10.2". The DIC display is 12" (speedometer area).

Would appear I was incorrect. Oddly when I measure my screen in the 2022 it is 12" diagonally, but guessing I am measuring beyond the actual screen dimensions.

Thank you all for the replies, this is really interesting. I assumed the screen size was the same, just a different dash configuration for the Denali. Just not sure why my build sheet has this:

IOK: 13.4" Premium GMC Infotainment System

Mine had the same thing, not sure why that is. I do wonder if it has something to do with the overall dimensions of the space for the screen in the Denali VS an SLT or SLE.

Seems like a safe bet the 13.4" screen will migrate to the SUVs fairly quickly. I don't think they would do it mid way through the model year though. My guess it when they switch to the larger screen the push-button transmission controls will go away as they will need that real-estate. That will be a good thing IMO as the new Sierra dash looks great.
