im looking at 96 gmc yukon gt 4x4 with the 5.7 vortec. any one tell me how the 2dr are on gas? its got 350 000kms on it and he wants $3000 cdn. there no rust nothing wrong with it hasnt been beat on power everything its black cherry on tan interior. how reliable are thse yukons? any info would be great

If maintained properly they are very reliable. You can expect 13 mpg in city and 16/17 on the highway.

Price sounds about right if it's in good shape, I paid $3000 for mine. I get 15.5mpg on my '97 Yukon 4x4 5.7 vortech 4 door 167,000miles, normal driving, I haven't tried freeway yet.

I paid $1500 for mine with 330000 kms on it, but it was by no means mint, I've put over a grand into it and a lot of hours to get it to a good spot!

Where abouts do you live?

Yeah I know where bowmanville is, I live in kitchener, that yukon sounds like a good deal, but don't buy it if you want Honda civic mileage. LOL

It's a truck ... it has a V8 ... it's 4x4, the only thing you have going for you is it's a 2 door.
