Hello I am new to forum. My wife currently has a 08 Chevy Tahoe owned since new has 240,000km and we are looking at orders a 2023 GMC Yukon Denali. Looking at going frost white and then doing all chrome delete in black gloss wrap. I have attached my build sheet anything that anybody has experience with I should not get or I should add?? Any Thoughts or tips would be great!!!

It’s funny the Yukon I am getting is going to be onyx black and show all of its chrome glory. Interior is very dark gray/brown. Beautiful interior color

Hope the process goes well for you. Make sure you find a high volume dealership that has a lot of allocations to order. I on the other hand have been looking for ones on the lot and it’s been a frustrating process. Luckily I found a dealer at msrp and put a deposit on one in transit. It’s supposed to arrive on 2/7.

If you are spending $100k, why are you not ordering the Denali Ultimate? Then you will have black chrome already...and you will have a heck of a lot more equipment on there besides the standard.

I would consider at least adding the advanced technology package...minimum. And perhaps the Premium Capability Package w/ Active Response 4WD, which comes w/ standard 22" Wheels...so your wheel upgrade won't be so expensive.

Edit: Oops, now I see this says GMC Canada on top; so this is in CAD, not USD...makes more sense now.

Hey yes the ultimate is 113-115,000k which is just to much for me and the biggest thing is I do not want the air ride suspension as in Canada where I am we get -40*C lots here and from what I have heard the air ride is a nightmare at these temps. So I wanted to say away from this option and the max tow which I have heard is a constraint and is hold up lots of vehicle so wanted to say way from that option as well. I found a very good shop close to wrap gloss black all chrome for 800 bucks so thinking that will be my option for the chrome.

FYI, I am in MN, it is -6F (-21C) here today, yukon has been in parking lot all day; I have air ride...so far..no issues.

I would still seriously consider the Advanced Tech Package, and, honestly, I think Max Tow is pretty well off constraint now (esp for higher trims like Denali).

From what I understand on Air Ride, there is a Service Bulletin out for the issues at cold temp; but it only covers vehiles from beginning of production for 2021 through Dec 1, 2021. Apparently, they think they have fixed it.
I only have it because I tow a lot (boat), so want it for the levelling...probaby smart to stay off it if you don't need it; but it is supposedly handled. See the thread on it here

ok I will looking into the tech package again can’t remember what it all includes?? And as for towing I don’t tow at all with my Yukon and if I did I think I would rather put air bags in rear than the whole air system GM has. I have a 2016 2500HD is my tow king.

Yes honestly the tech package there is a couple things would be nice but there is a lot that I really do not need like the whole trailering stuff, rear media system those are costly options I do not need at all. The rear view mirror Camera with spray my sales guy was adding he said he can get that added with out adding the whole package
