Found the site and thought I'd stop in and have a look around. I've got a 97 4 door tahoe 4wd right now I'm working on a 3-4" front drop and a 5-6" rear drop. As of right now I have the stock keys decranked, but that only got me about 1" so I got a set of purple keys coming so hopefully I can get at least 3" out of those keys. The rear has a 3" shackle installed (may make it a 3.5-4" though) and I'm trying to run it out of gas so I can pull my tank and install my hangers. So with the hangers and the modified shackles I'm looking for 5.5-6" rear drop without an axle flip :D

But its rolling on 20" JJet Co wheels with 275/40 Perelli P Zeros. I'm planning on some electric fans, volant CAI, MSD 6AL, Blackbear tune, Pacesetter LT headers, custom 3" catted y pipe and a single 3" exhaust with a spintech muffler. Then this weekend I'll be adding a vette servo to firm up my shifts

But enough from me and sorry I don't have any pics, my brother is borrowing my camera and I have just gotten started modifying the truck, so there will be alot more to come :)

HAHA yeah I like to get everything worked out in my head before I start working on something. About 5 years ago I started bagging my truck (92 fullsize chevy ECSB) I had a 5-7 static drop and wanted more. I got everything ordered except the bags, comps, tanks, and lines. Hacked the frame, installed the notch and then lost interest in the project and ended up parting it out :emotions122: So now I try to keep the project driveable and my tahoe is my DD so it has to be finished the same day.

But on a side note I have a 95 Camaro Z28 (hense the user name :)) that is also currently down for some more upgrades. Right now its getting '98+ front brakes, custom 3.5" CAI, and some "cleaning up" (wire tucks, and fuel line tuck) But I have a ton of work done to that car. But its my baby so it gets all of my attention LOL

Heres a pic of my tahoe the day I picked it up about a year and a half ago

You don't need a 6AL box its overkill, just stick with a straight 6. Theres also a harness avaible to make it plug and play for our vechiles. Hope your getting a coil too as well as Plug and wires. E-Fans, Black Bear Tune (which you should your tune from them) makes a plug and play harness for that as well.

I have a Volant CAI, and I switched from a drop in K&N. The only reason I did was b/c I got the Volant CAI for $150 BNIB. Other then that I feel OEM intake is the best due to its fitment right into the fender. Volant's crappy fitment.
