I installed a kenwood 375bt this morning. Couple questions.
So I have some feedback. Seems like rear speakers only. Follows with rpm range.
I know zero about audio. But how do I eliminate the feedback.
Also. After having it in about an hour, I get intermittent staticky audio. Not prolonged .Came through on ipod and radio. I will have to pull it out , but what am i looking for.
Ordered from crutchfield. Soldered all connections. Pac 5 harness .Wasnt a bad install.
Thanks

have your alternator checked at a reputable shop. also check all your grounds on the engine. even small feedback can cause distortions. ive also heard if some of your wires are laying on other power wires it can cause minor static but ive never had that issue.

did you just wire it into the existing factory harness or did you run speaker wire and the whole shebang....

Add another ground to your ground wire. run it down somewhere and ground it to a good metal point.

when you pull it out to check it out see if you can isolate the power wires from the speaker wires on the harness you soldered up, wrap them with electrical tape away from each other as well as adding the extra ground mentioned above, the noise is electrical feedback crossing into the speaker output.

So I pulled it back out .I think I got the speaker crackle sorted out. Seemed like I didn't have one of the connectors all the way into the Pac 5 unit.
The whistle that follows rpm. Ill see later. I have to be driving. And I didnt have material to splice another ground.

This is it btw. Basic. But some nice features.
