the price is very impressive.

that's pretty amazing when you can buy anything for an ls for 1000$ lol.

I read it as these are rec port heads copies of the 6.2 heads with a better flowing intake port location of the ls7 head, but without the valve angle of the ls7 head that causes them to drop valves. also these do run a smaller valve than the ls7 heads, so they can be used on smaller bore motors than the 6.2 as well. unlike the ls7 head which has huge valves that hit on the smaller bore motors. ls7 heads are kinda magic but a complete nightmare to use, kinda gotta build the whole engine around them.

these flow better than a stock rec port heads, cost less than having your old heads refebed, also fit smaller than 6.2 bores if you're building say a 6.0. only down side per say is you'd need a intake manifold for the raised intake ports, say the ls7 style intake. I do not know if they make a "truck" ls7 style intake, but I have a feeling if these become popular they will.

it's kinda a win win.. buy these, drop on your 6.2 for less than you'd pay to clean your stock ones up and have them ported to reach these numbers out of the box, plus with these since they aren't ported and just raised port, you don't lose low lift air speed flow numbers like you do with most port jobs. that's what the charts are showing these flow better at 0.200 lift than stock where a port job will most likely lose at 0.200 to gain at 0.600 lift.

then sell your used heads (ls3 heads) for half what you pay for these without the down time of having machine work done.

I think I just talked myself into buying a set of these for my ls3 car if it ever get around to that cam swap.
