I started looking today.
Another guy (different forum) same Tahoe as me. 99 4x4.
Both planning ball joints, tie rod ends, control arm bushings, idler/pitman arms.
Due to less down time, (lack of tools for him) both were thinking new control arm with bushings and ball joints.
However so far no one is having any luck finding a new lower.
Uppers not a problem, lowers only place we know of is a junkyard.

Anyone know where a loaded lower control arm can be bought? Stock control arm.

Kinda beats the purpose of buying mine and the other person I know buying his to sell them and get a newer one doesn't it?
We are both capable of changing the parts. Both planning on getting a new set from a junk yard putting new ball joints/bushings on to speed the downtime.
