Good morning, as the title says I am a new member with a new (to me) Tahoe on the way to me in Nashville, TN.

I am excited to get this truck after months of looking and look forward to getting it and making it mine.

I have been reading the boards for awhile now and deciding what I want to do to it.

I would like some advice on what modifications that you all think I should do.

For instance I will be adding an iPod interface of some sort (any suggestions on which one?) and wheels and tires. I also think I would like to even up the fender gap in the rear (the "rake") by dropping the rear about 2".

I would also like the factory chrome and black grill as opposed to the all-chrome on that is currently on it (anyone have suggestions on where to get one?)

The engine is fine (mine has a supercharger and some other go-fast upgrades) and pushes about 500 horsepower so I think that will be ok (although my current daily driver is a Cadillac STS-V with 469HP) so most of the modifications will be done either for aesthetics (exterior) or convenience/cool factor (interior and electronics).

The truck is a 2008 Tahoe LTZ with 4WD, Black on black leather with quad buckets and Navigation, all the bells and whistles, etc...

Thanks in advance for your help. This forum has already been a wealth of information.

Cheers,
Logan

If a deal I'm already working on falls through, I will trade you my chrome and black one for your chrome one.

NavTV for iPod interface. Do not get the gmx550 lock pick. You will be disappointed. And welcome to TYF!
