As the title states I just picked up a certified 11 Denali AWD. This thing feels like a beast and I'm looking for a little real life info on 1/4 mile times stock. I've heard that these things and Escalades break 14s stock. If this is possible I'm thinking I have a great chance since my local strip here on the east coast is Cecil County MD where density altitude is frequently in the negative few hundreds in late fall/early winter. Also if anyone could shed some real life gains on what a intake/tune/cat back sort of combo yields I'd appreciate. I was a Ford guy up until yesterday where SCT tunes/CAI at local shops was all you need to grab some serious gains but the Denali is all new to me. Thanks!

Airraid jr. or intake of your choice. They all provide some help, and difference between brands is marginal. If you have the coin the Corsa system is great but goes down to 3'' where the factory is 3.5''. Magna flow muffler 12909 is a direct replacement, provides a little extra power, and is under $200, delete the resonator while you're at it. As far as tunes most people go Blackbear, or you could try to find LS tuning local to you.

Awesome info, thanks! I do know of LS tuning relatively local so if I go that route I guess a solid dyno tune would be the best route. I like the corsa system but it's hard to find too many others for comparison.

If you don't want as aggressive sound look into the Magnaflow 12909, or even the SLP resonator delete with tips.

I like things loud, so I am going to be going with a Borla Sportsman XR-1, and dump it over the axle.

Short time owner, but 1-2 mpg better i believe

I'm seeing a consistent 12-12.5 overall average before and after my lift install. I haven't done tires yet, but if I could squeeze a little out that'd be cool too. Is that magna flow a cat back or just muffler?
