I'm proud to say I'm an owner of a 2003 GMC Yukon SLT (no autoride) finally! After looking for about a year, I think I found the one I wanted. I've had quite a few posts here and there and lurked here on these boards all this time learning and finding out what all I can do to these trucks. Now I have one, and the modding shall begin!

Truck has under 130,000 miles on it, but completely serviced by a GMC dealership. It was previously owned (single owner until now) by a GMC employee, so it appears to have been given good care. It's the 5.3L, 4WD, and all the pluses except for the overhead DVD player and sunroof.

The only real issue with the truck was the fact the previous owner was a chain smoker. Interior reeked of tobacco/smoke/etc. However, after taking it to a detailer, and a few hours later the smell has considerably lessened, although not completely gone away. I figure it will take some time of airing it out and more treatments to finally have it gone. I may look at replacing the headliner at some point too.

Over all, very happy with the truck! I'm looking at getting some Denali headlights and retrofitting some true projectors into it as soon as I can. After that, possibly a small lift and more! What was your favorite mod you would recommend to me to do?

Nice looking truck.

My favorite mod was the ESKY rear vent caps (appliqués) and the ESKY roof rack.

Gives the truck a much classier look IMO.
