I purchased one of these for my 2007 LTZ
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31KPWh4WbNL.jpg
from Amazon, I think I paid around $107, I see it is now $119 or so for the unit. It was a NEW GM Delco unit, and it plugged in and worked fine.

One thing I noticed is the following:
1) It had the Outside Air Temp (OAT) that read about the same as the one on my mirror, it was always a bit different, one or two deg is all..
2) The color of the screen matched perfectly
3) After driving a while it would start to goof up, and the blower would literally sound like it was blowing in an empty box. I did not notice this before, so I did the following:
1) I removed the front face and the buttons and put it on my original unit.
2) This was fine but I noticed that the color was a little different, and it was more dim than the rest of my buttons and lights... this bugged me so I removed it again and put in the display board and the new buttons from the new unit onto the old unit. So half of it is the NEW, the parts you see, and the other half is the old unit, the brains... works & looks perfectly now...

I just discovered that the part number 25932038 that is used for the Enclave & Traverse appear to be the same except for the front mounting bracket, This is easy to replace, so if anyone needed buttons, and these appear to be slightly less expensive if all you need is fresh buttons.

Is there a way to just get the buttons? We just bought an 07 Denali, and this is the buttons are worn bad. Pretty much every one that we looked at had the same thing.

nope. You can buy a new one and replace the buttons, or you can buy stickers that go over your current buttons.

A couple people here have done the stickers. They are ok...

Correct, Here were my options
1) try to find a GOOD used one, they are all over ebay, but the buttons were all worn, so what was the point.
2) I found what looked like a good one on ebay, only to have the seller honestly tell me that the buttons were worn, so what was the point.
3) Try a junk yard... good luck
4) NEW from gmpartsdirect or other dealer, spend around $170 +$30 for shipping
5) Get the stickers... sure they look better, but I was not convinced, I figured for an additional $50, on a $25,000 used car I would want it to look better than a sticker, also I read where the stickers ended up coming off...
5) My choice was to get one from Amazon for $100, Like I put in my first post, I worked it out, and to change the face only takes about 10-20 min at the most 30 if you really take your time...

For posterity, here is what I found the following part numbers:
FOR Tahoe/Yukon 15-74023 or 25936130

Others that have similar buttons:
15-73985 or 25932036 - GMC Acadia
15-73986 or 25932038 - Traverse, Outlook, Enclave

- Has Car instead of SUV for Max button...
15-74101 or 20878800 - 2008 - 2011 Hybrid Tahoe/Yukon

- These have a car instead of the SUV for the MAX, and the top right button is different, instead of REAR (or aux on the early models) it has what looks like vent.
15-74022 or 25936129 - Avalanche
15-74024 or 25936131 - Silverado & Sierra
15-74025 or 25936132 - Silverado & Sierra

Hope this helps someone

Got an extra one that says AUX... I did not like the AUX as it was a bit ambiguous to what it meant, like the REAR better IMHO.

Nathan,
Buy a new unit (pick one) for $100, swap out the button on Amazon, sell it as "new" on ebay for $100... No one is selling these on ebay as new for less than $140... even the used ones. You could truly say that the unit (as a unit) has never been used, and it still would have the original packaging. Just has AUX button instead of "REAR"

So I picked up the ac delco unit from amazon, but when plugged in I'm getting a displayed interior temp of 55 f (assuming default - rear view was 85). Anyone else have this issue? 2007 with aftermarket stereo if that helps.
