I just replaced the spider for the new se up and one of the 2 fuel lines wont seem to go on all the way and leaks. I must have taken it off 4 times now and it seems like the nut connectingone of the 2 lines doesnt go on as far as the other did. Not sure what the hell is going on here

I will be doing this after the new year so I am curious as to what the solution to your issue is going to be.

Well went to the junk yard and picked up a replacement top fuel line. Went right on and no leak. Could not see and damaged threads but must have been that. The way it drives now is amazing conpared to how it was. This is a must do for all using the old style poppet injectors

Performance and economy usually increase, but after the performance aspect is felt the MPG's fall low cause you won't be able to keep you foot out of the throttle. LOL, did it to my hoe during the engine change 170K ago and i still remember how much better id ran after the change over.
