I installed some newer style c shaped led tailings and they are kicking my butt.. anybody else running this style?b557c421745d20c05bcee5aecf437d49.jpg
With all the lights plugged in I only have blinkers and brake lights. If the headlights are on brake lights do not work.
If I un plug the blinker as seen in pic on passenger side running lights work.
On one side I tries to add a resistor inline on running light no fix. Installed resistor to blinker and occasionally will work momentarily.
Tried a standard3157 led in blinker and it works fine. I have done drl mod with switchback morimoto leds up front with novita lm487 flasher relay.. I have removed and throughly cleaned all grounds

ANY IDEAS????
Thanks Aaron

Could be the switchbacks up front. I installed some in my front turn signals and lost my brake lights except for the high mounted one. I had to add resistors to the park light circuits up there. I tried a digital flasher first but no luck. The brake light wires go through the park light circuit up front. Previously I had to install resistors on the rear brake light circuits for hyperflashing after installing led taillights.

Thought crossed my mind. Just popped stock halogens in same results. Tried factory flasher no change maybe because it's darker out side I can see the left directional in cluster slightly illuminated not as bright as right which has no bulb In so I'm not surprised by that one being illuminated

Problem goes away if you go back to stock taillights?

How do these connect to the factory wiring? Pic of the backside/wiring?

Found the issue. I was waiting for my new sockets to do drl mod, got impatient and did it with parking and drl sockets. Replaced with new socket and the lights work correctly. The Dorman socket was messed up inside burnt a lot of fuses trying to find that.

Make sure to doublecheck that your brake lights work with your park lights on. I thought I was OK, checked them with lights off and found later that they quit after turning my headlights/ park lights on. Too many led's combined with switchbacks!
