New Tahoe

Hi all,

I am new to this forum. Had a 2002 Tahoe with just under 100,000. Great vehicle, with nothing wrong. Traded up last week to a Black 2011 Tahoe Z71, loaded with Nav, Entertainment, Luxury package, Sunroof, all leather, etc. Sticker was 51,740. Got a smokin deal of $44,430. Awesome vehicle. Look forward to reading this forum!

My 01 Z71 Tahoe with 140-150xxx miles got $8,900 cash last year :/

wow! you got a good amount out of it with that kind mileage and age. I'd say you did well

Yea, I have used the Covette forum extensively, and if this is anything like that one, the amount of info available is amazing!

I got 7,000 for the trade. A little lower than I expected, but fair. There was one softball sized dent in the rear lower quarter panel. The dealer prepped it and had it listed for sale at $11,999. Dont know what they actually got for it, but they sold it in less than a week!

Yea, real happy with the deal, and a reputable dealer too. As for mods, I am pretty much a stock guy....love it JUST the way it is, so no mods planned!

It came with a Pioneer DD AVIC-D2 nav, full leather/loaded/limo tint, some goodyear wrangler mud terrain w/ kevlar 285's, flat black stock 17 z71 rims, flowmaster/downfiring exhaust... i kinda miss it talkin about it!

I miss pretty much all the trucks I've ever owned. It's especially more difficult when I see them driving around town after the fact.
