I ran over a piece of metal with my 2011 Tahoe and cut the side of the 20" tire. Since I only have 8500 miles on my Tahoe will GM replace the tire or will I have to pay a prorated price?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that you are on your own for the cost of the tire. I've never heard of a tire warranty that would cover any damage from you running over something. You're probably going to have to pay for the full amount of a new tire.

Even if the tire has a warranty on it, it will still be "prorated", as you have used the tire for 8500 miles.
