Hi fellas,
I'm new to this forum. I just picked up a black '09 Denali. The dealer had driven it around for a year and never registered it, so I got a decent discount and 0% financing for 72 months. Pretty happy about the car as is, but me being me, can't leave well enough alone.
I read through a good deal of post at my wife's dismay last night. Looks like the mods I can see in the immediate future are:
HID conversion - Looks like a lot of you use the DDM. Any other recommendations?
LED Tail Lights - I'm looking at some I saw on CarID. Does anyone have experience with their products? They look nice but first hand experience trumps all.
CAI - Again looks like the bulk of the people here use K&N or Volant. Since I've used K&N in the past, I'm leaning that way but the Volant does look nice.
Exhaust - Here's where I'm stuck. From the descriptions, the Corsa sounds like what I want but boy are they pricey. Any bang for your buck exhaust that isn't too loud at idle?
Tuning - It's pretty clear that everyone has nothing but good things to say about BB, so that's what I'll probably go with when time comes.
I hope I can be a contributing member to this community. Thanks in advance for any advice you guys can offer. My biggest immediate question is CarID. Yay or Nay? I also saw some headlights I like on there as well.
