Just bought a 99 Tahoe. A week after buying my service engine soon light came on. It was a p0161 code so I replaced the 2 of 2, 02 censor. Light came on five days later. Have heard that it may be my gas cap and not the sensor at all. Any ideas? Thanks

Here are the diagnostic tables for that code. You could have gotten a bum part (I'd go with an ACDelco) or a bad wire somewhere. Check to see if any of the sensor wiring is rubbing against the frame or metal.
