As the title says, i replaced both u joints with no real issues. they came out not to bad.
I put in the new, coat of paint on the driveshaft. The only question i have is : in my experience the yoke will have basically a tab on both sides that centers the u joint cups. my tahoe didnt seem to have them. Im hoping the vibration is just the u joint is slightly off center.
* edit. I did just read an article about making sure the joints were phased correctly. I know for certain i didnt pay attention to that. But the article referenced high speed applications. Could it be that big a deal in a passenger vehicle?
