Hey all! So i just traded my beloved 91 Wrangler away for a 95 Yukon 2 door SLT. I have been reading some posts on here since late last week when the trade was proposed to me.

- The cruise control is not working. Where do I start with trying to fix that? I heard there is a switch on the brake pedal and if that is not working it will turn off the cc.

- How can I tell if it has keyless entry? I would assume being an SLT that it would have it, but should I just call a dealership?

Thats it for now. Thanks again!

unknown at this time.
take your vin to the dealer and they will give you a build sheet on your vehicle.

Preliminary Inspection

* Check "GAGES" 20 amp fuse.
* Check for bare, broken, or disconnected wires.
* Check for binding or mis-adjusted cable assembly.
* Check for damaged or mis-positioned brake switch.

If preliminary inspection reveals no problem, follow the "Cruise System Functional Check ."
TROUBLESHOOTING HINTS

1. Check condition of BRAKES, STOP/HAZ, and CRUISE Fuses. If fuse is open, locate and repair source of overload. Replace fuse.

Check the turn signal switch, basically the colum shifter, trace it to the harness inside the dash, mine melted somehow and caused CC not to work.

Ebay has slammin deals, Parts place $325, ebay $60!

Yeah, I'm loving it so far. Its fricken cold where I am (Green Bay) so I have not really dug around in it yet. The guy bought it from a guy going through BK and was going to put a plow on it, then found a plow truck and had no need for it. He wanted a Jeep, I wanted a 2dr Tahoe/Yukon so we traded straight up. I think I got the better end of that deal. It only has 106k needs tires, a cleaning, and some front end work (no shimmy or anything, just about 2 or 3 inches of play).

I will have a heated garage saturday and a hoist so I am trying to figure out what I will be able to get to. It for sure is getting a tune up and top to bottom scrubbing. CC was the next project. I found out it had keyless entry from the factory so I ordered 2 on ebay for 33 shipped! Also am buying AtomicHoes hypertech chip for $35. I figure that is a good start. It already has magnaflow dual exhaust, and 32's. I am assuming that it must have some type of lift to fit those, or can 32's fit from the factory?

Anyway, thanks for the help so far.

Okay, so here is an update to what I have done so far on this.
- New tie rod ends/ball joints/idler arm/pitman arm (all Moog parts)
- Set of 200 Sierra chrome rims
- found out it had factory keyless entry, $33 on ebay for 2 fobs
- starter crapped out on day 6
- speakers all around (couldnt stand all 4 busted speakers)
- New hood (other had a huge dent in it)
- new pads and rotors up front
- oil change

This weekend full tune up (plugs, wires, cap/rotor, air filter, pcv). Any ideas of what else to look for while doing the tune up?

Here is a crappy pic of it when I got it

And here is a less crappy pic from today,
