Have 2 bad rear shocks on my new 04 denali. I got a good deal on it and I new they were bad when I got it. I have a replacement pump for it but no shocks and I have a few questions

Will I hurt anything driving it the way it is?

What's the better route, new air ride shocks or regular shocks? I don't do much towing but can't rule out pulling a pretty heavy trailer once in a while.

Also it looks like only the rear has the autoride shocks, just wanted to makes sure this is correct and someone didn't already replace the front ones.

Mine were blown out when I bought mine also. It rode fine, didn't sag in the back, I even pulled my camaro on the car hauler with no issue. So I did the fuse trick like stated above and used the shock bypasses you can buy on eBay and unplugged all 4 of the auto ride shocks. Much softer ride now, they were too firm for my tastes.
