I'm the proud owner of a 08 Yukon Denali. Great truck, but have few questions:

1) under mild acceleration there is a chirping noise from under the hood. No birds stuck there ;-). Is this normal or is some bearing going? Only got 26k miles on the truck!!

2) I'm looking to apply a tune to get better MPG. I've seen good things of BlackBear and Diablosport on the forum. I've seen more references to Diablosport for better MPG, but wondered if anyone can tell me if there is likely to be much difference between them? I'm leaning toward Diablosport because it sounds like it is easier and a lighter weight tune on the truck. Main aim is more MPGs so don't really want to push the truck too hard in tuning.

Can't help you much on either of your questions, besides to say that the BB tune is raved about by all i've heard here. Cant speak to it's MPG performance.

Anyway, Im sure someone can answer your questions better sometime today, but anyway, welcome to the forum. Stick around, there are a lot of smart and helpful people around these parts.

your BlackBear tune added 2 MPG??? That is awesome! Wonder if my nnbs would react the same way to the tune... I'm currently looking for the best tune to get better fuel economy.

The sound may be not from under the hood it may be from the bearings... mostly even one bearing which have gone worst produce such sound.... check it first... and its great to hear that your ride has put more two miles on it... congrats!!!
