Newbie ?: Do I have Autoride?

Have an 09 Tahoe LT, do the LTZ's only come with autoride?

Here is a pic of my rear suspension:

I don't here a compressor when I start it so I imagine, I don't...

Can you guys confirm?

Yeah you don't have Autoride.
If you are interested in lowering it (just a thought because of your question) send me a message and I can hook you up with a real nice priced Pedders 2/3 drop kt.

And only LTZ's come with Autoride, unfortunately.

Ya I know man, gotta get my Lowering kit, LED 3rd brake light and shocks off of me.
The TPMS thing was just an offer, don't want to sell those becuase I need them too!

My 2001 tahoe sometimes i hear some compresors going on and the rear shocks have a hose going in is that autoride???and what is that for is it for when im towing something the rear wont lower???

Sounds like you have it. If so, yes, the truck will try to maintain it's set ride height. If you put a lot of weight in the back (including attaching a trailer), then the autoride will try to keep the rear from sagging.

so to lower the back do i need something else beside springs??

You're best off asking in the 2000-2006 section. But, for my '09, I know that when the lower springs were installed, you had to just bend/relocate the autoride sensors such that they are tricked into thinking that the new (lowered) ride height is the correct ride height (so that they're not trying to raise the rear back to the ORIGINAL height).
