Newbie here just got my 13 ltz Tahoe last week want to mod. Help please!

i want to add some chrome accents to it and different tail lights or taillight covers. Has anyone added chrome to the running boards. Was also thinking of buying chrome window sill molding and black smoke window visors or should those be chrome too? I've been googling pictures and looking all different kind of stuff up and I found this awesome forum! I don't want it to look too cheap or too much chrome Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Will post pictures of my truck after this. Thanks

Just added tint to front windows to match rear this weekend

No more chrome. Swap running boards for denali or escalade boards with chrome strips. Remove door moldings and if you want a denali or escalade roof rack that is ok. Get some LED tails and hitch cover on rear.

The hitch cover was ordered by the dealership it hasn't come in yet. Why would I want to remove the door moldings? I love the chrome along the doors

at the end of the day it is your truck. do what you like! I don't think you will get many votes in favor of more chrome. but if you want more that's up to you lol. on the steps I would DEFF look at the Escalade steps!!!

Thank you! I don't want it to look cheap or too overdone so this is why I want opinions. I'm blacking out the Chevy bow ties and going to go with the black window visors. As far as tail lights not sure. I'm not gonna touch the running boards for now I think I'm going to add the chrome molding on them and see how I like it

Like the others have said, no more chrome. Especially those visors. That, if you ask me, would definitely cheapen it up. Good luck with whatever you decide.

There is not a modification on the planet that looks cheaper than chrome window visors. It's your truck, so if you like it, go ahead, but most other people will see it as cheap. A good rule to follow is: "if it's chrome and installs with double-sided tape, it's going to look cheap."

Like mentioned above, if you want to add chrome without looking cheap, go with Denali/Escalade running boards and roof rack.
