Newbie here

So, I just purchased a 2005 GMC Yukon 4x4.
All I know is that it's a 5.3 liter. (LM7? I think?)

I've been a GM guy for as long as I can remember, and actually purchased this vehicle with plans of towing a 4th generation LSX powered camaro to the track. (getting the car is the next step, but I used to own one, and I loved it.) Anyway, I think what I'm getting at is that most of my questions will be about towing. I'm sure the truck may get a few minor modifications in the future, but hopefully I can exercise some self control. Knowing myself, that isn't very likely.

I completely lost all self control after being here long enough after buying my Denali. Haha. Welcome! I tow a lot with my rig as well. Threes plenty of towing advice from members here!

thank you all! This is supposed to be my responsible adult vehicle! don't encourage me! Though, I did spend a lot of time reading through Red Rocket's build thread, and getting ideas...oops.

oh yeah...I've got the bug...

All day I've been thinking, "How am I going to get my tools to the east coast so I can start working on this thing?"

I guess it's time to put my newly acquired garage to use!

If you read red rockets build your doomed. Open you pocket book cause your getting the bug already. Mine was the responsible family vehicle! Hounded here before I bought it and one month later started the list. I can say one thing now. I have the COOLEST family vehicle around. And you do and will love everything these guys do to make it better.
