I just bought a 2005 GMC Yukon SLT 2wd. It has 17" rims and P265 / 70R / 17 Tires on it. I want to put a leveling kit on it but have no idea which one and I am having a terrible time even finding one for this year and style Yukon. My sons 08 Tahoe was easy...he put a 1" on the rear and a 2" on the front and it was easy and perfect. We found his on Ebay and it was cheap and solid as a rock.

With this vehicle do I need a leveling kit in the front and rear or just the front ??

I am also going to be putting BF Goodrich All Terrains on it once I level it out and Im going to go up one height size.

Any suggestions that you can give me and help would really be appreciated.

Thank you,

Otis

Just look on ebay for 00-06 leveling kits
you will either need longer shocks or extenders so keep that in mind but keys up front and a 1-2in spacer in back is pretty average
also remember the 08 and 05 are totally different front suspension

sounds like you need to measure the height of front and rear to determine which to lift. If you want level, and you have the front rake, you'd want to get keys and crank them until the front is level with the rear. If you're rear is lower that would mean you already have aftermarket keys on the front, or your stock keys are cranked too much. If so, just crank down the keys. But most have the front rake, so keys should all you need

And like the others said, you can find keys anywhere. I'd try ebay. Should be about $120/pr.
