If I get a leveling kit, front and rear do I need new shocks? I'm confused about the difference between the kits. Thank you in advance.

Yes, at a minimum, you will need new (longer) front shocks or some shock extenders if you are on a budget. Your rear shocks might be ok unless you go over 1.5" spacers.
