a couple of questions maybe issues...

1. when i turn on the truck the the radio has a message saying to call onstar it cant update. I hit ok and all seems to work ok. I dont think the dealer set up the onstar as i dont have it on "my chev app" only my wifes new traverse is.

2. I have a google pixel 3a phone (no wireless charging) sometimes when i plug into the charger (usb is plugged into the one at the lower part of the dash) all the left side speakers cut out until re-start the truck. It doesnt matter what source im listening to either.

any thoughts?

On #1 I agree the dealer never did the setup on their end and you still need to do your welcome call probably. #2 sounds like the dealer needs to check for a firmware update but that one is weird that all sources are affected once you plug the phone in. That one may take some new hardware...

Both issues sound like there's a good chance the dealer sold it as soon as it rolled off the transport truck and may not have checked for other updates, recalls etc.

just press the blue button and onstar will pick up the call, do the free part they offer to all new owners but I wouldn't give them any cc info until you decide if the service is worth it to you.
ask them to push any updates to the vehicle, that may or may not resolve your issue with the audio cutting out.
