Been posting bought though it was time to post here, Bought a 2013 Tahoe SSV. Bought the Tahoe on govdeals with 35K and 1.2k idle hours.

Since taking ownership October 2020 I have done/serviced

All fluids - Oil, trans, diff and etc
Replaced the engine fuse block due to reverse lights not working this ended up at the dealer had to have it programed.
Loose battery mega fuse caused the alternator to short itself.
While replacing the battery positive post due to the fuse connector melting when I pulled starter wire off the starter it cracked the plastic housing.
Had the front doors painted (the roof the 3 quotes I got wanted 2k to 3k)
Replaced the font seats due to them smelling like a old gym bag left in the sun (after many cleaning cycles)
Did not like the rear bench so replaced with captains chairs
Had both the front and back seats reupholster centers with suede
Fixed the spotlights ordered motorcycles lights off amazon LINK
Found a cheap center console took it apart cleaned most of the parts in the dishwasher and sanded and repainted it still have to wire up the USB chargers in the console.
Bought ZL1 rearview mirror, suburban camera and trim, and hatch harness (the upfiiter while removing equipment cut many wires and sliced the rubber boot) and miles of wire.
Had the wheels and grill guard powder coated.
Replaced the Front headlights and rear taillights due to holes left from upfitters removing equipment after taking it for it first wash headlights and tail lights filled with water Link for headlights
Installed dash cam and radar detector - BlackVue DR900X- 2ch LINK Uniden R7 you can get these from Best buy and amazon.
and many many other things I cant remember.

Future project.

Stereo - bought 2 sub boxes one going under the console and other one is between the captains chairs Link to Ebay store.
Finish the rear seat folding option bought the switches and fuse panel and relays.
Hunting for a Havis console insert - Only knows where I can find one would be helpful.
Supercharger if the gas prices get cheaper here soon.
upgrade or fix my push bar the upfitters took the winch plate. Link to the company that makes the grill guards
install the horn blaster kit found a open box deal and added extra horn to it.

Welcome from Miami Beach!

Nice find on your very low mileage SSV! Nice Caprice also! The Caprice is well liked [more then the Charger] in Florida. They plan on keeping them till the wheels fall off as police vehicles are hard to get these days.

I have a Chevy SS (Holden commodore VF), my roommate has a 2014 caprice let me dig out a photo last one. Funny thing If you like the G8 interior you look for a 2011 - 2013 if you like the ss interior you find a 2014 - 2017 years.

Thanks for posting the Caprice. I love both the Holden and the Caprice after the Tahoe. I prefer the SS interior but both interiors are nice. Both you and your roommate have excellent taste when it comes to vehicles!

Made a mistake on what Grill Guard I have turns out to be a WARN Trans4mer 74140. Will check later but I believe it is made by 3rd party company Go Industries inc.
