I hope this is the right place to put this topic. This is on my 08 Tahoe with 28,000 miles.

Ok what I get is a clicking noise from my rear axle that gets louder the faster I go. But it also goes with the speed of the wheel. Today I jacked it up and spun the rear tires to turn the axle and figured it is coming from the drivers side area right behind the brakes. It has to be something internally since everything else looks fine on the outside. Just wondering what would make this noise? ABS sensor, hub bearing?

Anyone else have this issue or no of what it could be?

Or something like a rock or stick stuck behind the rotor or in the caliper

No I had the rims off today and I looked everywhere and didn't see anything at all. I looked behind the shield and even thought it might be the e-brake but no.

How are your brake pads? This same thing was happening to me last year and it was due to needing to replace my brake pads.

brake pads are still in great condition and only have 28,000 miles on them.

Sorry I have no way of taking a video of it.

I will be taking it into the dealer to get fixed since it still under the bumper to bumper warranty. I am just trying to get it pin pointed out so I can tell them what to look at. I will have it in there in a week or two once the get my new rack and pinion in since mine leaks. I did all the stuff the TSB says to do before they replace and I told my dealership I did it and they said they will just replace then. They know I know what I am doing and talking about so they listen to me and treat me well.

I bet it is brake related. especially if it is more apparent with more speed.

I would get it to the dealer. Without us being able to look at it there is no way we can pin point exactly what the issue is. Let us know how it goes at the dealer.
