I have had a problem with my doorlocks over the last few months working when they want too. Now they don't work at all. If you push the lock/unlock button on the door or the lock/unlock button on my Viper alarm remote, you can hear the little noise and a clicking noise but nothing on the doors. I examined the little box located above the gas pedal that has the two little cylinders in it and everything seems to be engaging inside of it? Any ideas??

Check the fuse/circuit breaker for the doorlocks. The relay will still click, but the main power feed isnt getting any power to power the locks.

My power door locks are not working either on 97 Tahoe. I checked the fuse and its OK because my power seat is working and its on the same fuse. There is no clicking when you press on the door lock buttons.

OMG. this is normal wear and tear i guest for our kind of SUV. first time i purchase my Denali i was having the same problem..

it seems like its not getting enough power to the actuator or something to allow the mechanical part to unlock/LOCK.

I had some idea of how to fix it.. this that's how i fix my.

Turn on your Engine. Let your battery Recharge.. I KNOW I KNOW.. it should work either way. but just try it. it work for me.

don't turn on your Radio, don't do anything beside your engine TURN on for 1 or 2 minutes..

on the Driver Side. press the LOCK/UNLOCK switch. .. your whole Car will LOCK / or UNLOCK.

Wait another 30 Second or SO.. then do it again. .. just keep doing it.

thats what i did for a while... i have no clue why this work.. i notice this because. if i keep locking the door it will not work. but ones i drive from my house to the store. it somehow lock the door.

I think WE need to opent he DOOR PANEL. and LUBRICATE all that CRAP INSIDE.. maybe its getting dry and FRICTION or something..
