Salt Water Bath...
I'm sure this was posted before somewhere, but I think it bears repeating. On my 2005 Yukon XL Denali, there is a wiring connector just below the inside hood release. On this connector, there is an extra large Orange wire which has no business going through this connector.
Easy to spot, you flip the connector locks on either side and pull on the handle, then the connector comes apart. If there is a bad connection at that wire (and it'll keep happening as it's a wire to connector engineering mismatch), you'll spot a burn spot. If so, just cut out that wire on both sides of the connector, and put in a new 12 ga wire directly connecting the two dangling wires, bypassing that connector, then route safely.
