I dont know how to really explain this....
When shutting off the truck theres a noise, sounds like something is powering down coming from the back. Never noticed it before & seems to get louder (unless now that I noticed it, I just seems louder) & I notice it when I come to a stop as well...sounds like something is continually running...

Only thing I can compare it to as an example...my mustangs fuel pump kicks on when ya turn the key before actually starting & is the last thing to turn off as well (but this is normal)

So what could this possibly be?? Fuel pump as well? Going out?

Doesn't the ESKY have AUTORIDE? Might be your compressor?

my yukon's kicks on initially...but the lac never did (that i noticed) not to mention the bags are blown anyways, so would the compressor even work still? or maybe run continual because nothing is filling to kick it off?

Good questions. As I do not have AUTORIDE on mine, I can unfortunately not answer your questions, sorry.

I am sure someone will chime in here and advise accordingly.

I know my fuel pump whines a high-pitched, loud whine when it's hot outside. Could be that, or autoride compressor. If the bags are blown, in theory, the compressor would run continuously to attempt to fill the bags that are not filling.

Can you hear it from outside too. If so, might very well be the fuel pump. But that doesn't necessarily mean its going bad. When I bought mine, the fuel pump made a high pitch whine also. But I didn't have to replace it til earlier this year and I bought my tahoe almost 4 years ago.

What does it sound like? Is it coming from the rear passenger side? Does it sound like it's coming from the inside/outside? It could be the blend door actuator. Mine always made noises. They're going bad

Havnt yet checked to see if I can hear outside as well... Some days seems louder than others & its not so much a high pitched noise, just sounds like something is running & then powers down after key is turned off... the blend actuator actually has been out since last winter when I first noticed it when I didn't get any heat back there...so I still cant pin point wth it is

So you took it out? Or it's still in there. Even if it doesn't work. It still gets power and the gears turn and slip. This causing the noise. Unplug it and see.
